The Our Candidate School will skill up community leaders and prepare them for elected office with training from everything from field organizing and fundraising.
This course will train up a cohort of impacted individuals, especially women and BIPOC leaders, to develop a deep bench of talent that is virtuous and viable.
We will innovate, discuss the ways politics are changing and how they can secure that progress.
This 2 Week long course with a wide range of valuable sessions about utilizing the newly passed charter reform to run for office in Portland. There is a 16 hour total long curriculum, hosted in person with accommodation needs met. Curriculum includes:

Concurrent to candidate school, a youth focused program will be run to develop campaign manager and worker skill sets and help expand the breadth of campaign talent available to candidates.
Assets given to graduates include a press list, a free copy of “The Campaign Manager”, ongoing support and networking help, certificate of completion, professional headshot, and resume support.
